The best argument for raising the minimum wage to $15 comes from @JoeBiden: No American who works 40 hours a week should live in poverty.

$15/hr is poverty in most major cities. We need stronger solutions that won't kill small business and make @amazon and other global corporations contribute to our safety net.

This suggests people who work fewer than 40 hours a week are fair game to get fucked by poverty. And that ain’t true. UBI for all. Eliminate poverty entirely.

That's Bernie's postion he has been saying this for over 6 years. We are winning at pushing Biden a little more left if he is starting to parrot Bernie Sanders.
Nobody who works 40 hours a week should be living in poverty. #FightFor15 #RaiseTheWage

Don't give Joe credit for repeating something that someone else' said, Joe doesn't mean it, he was told it polled well when Bernie said it, and just regurgitated it.

It's a Bernie talking point, but it's nice to see Biden adopt it.

Actually that is Bernie's saying but go ahead and give Biden (who was against it for a LONG time) credit.

Lol. And why didn't he raise it when he and Obama had a supermajority for 5 months in 2009? Stop giving this man credit. Just stop.

You mean plagiarizing Bernie Sanders? 🙄

Biden is infamous for pushing austerity cuts on disabled and seniors. This message that only "working" people deserve the dignity of living without poverty is AWFUL and WRONG.

Pretty sure this is Bernie’s argument.
