The best argument for raising the minimum wage to $15 comes from @JoeBiden: No American who works 40 hours a week should live in poverty.

You mean Bernie sanders......
Poverty seeks Equality, while Equality stimulates Economy
True! Only $15/hr is no longer a living wage in big cities - needs to be closer to $25. Wondering if there can be some nuance to the minimum wage? Make it dependent on cost of living in a given area? Take into consideration the profits of the company to support small business?
Which ignores the reality that more will be put out of work due to it than will benefit from it and by a big percentage. Joe Bidens lack of basic economic understanding is scary.
It’s a great emotional argument Some jobs aren’t valued @ $15 hr All your doing is eliminating what used to be entry level jobs for kids/jobs for older people looking to supplement retirement income At the same time eliminating jobs & raising the costs of goods n services
What’s your thought on rent control? Do you think with pay increase (which I agree with) that cost of living will go up? Or no?
That was actually Bernie’s. He’s really been pulling the strings lately 😏
In my town 15 is not a living wage
That can be directly attributed as a quote from Bernie Sanders campaign
