The very same article acknowledges that costs are passed on to customers. If labor costs increase, the costs will be higher meaning less rides = less drivers. Leave the gigs alone. They won't be gigs of we turn them into hourly regs

I've researched this and I still don't fully understand prop 22 ... why it exists ... and what it does ... but it appears to harmful to many of the so called "Gig" workers.

If Lorena González and CA dems had not been so heavy-handed and obtuse with their precious AB5, this would not have been an issue. Every gig worker I know HATED AB5. Prop 22 was the only option we had to publicly refute this horrid, gig-killing law. We were NOT “bamboozled!”
