Looking at the footage of the Jan. 6 riot, it's unbelievable that it took hours before DC's National Guard arrived. Trying to wrap my head around it.

I think it was aided and abetted by inside people.

Because the DC National Guard was purposely weakend and then Trump appointee Sec of Defense refused to send them in. The fact the White House was not evacuated during an attack on the Capitol tells us all we need to know.

They were rendered powerless by the trump administration. MD and VA were held off from sending theirs. Police from my county went in to help before trump allowed the Guards in. This was planned and coordinated and I can't wait until more comes out about it!

Trump had his ducks in a row... that's why he replaced key players in defense positions... that's why he did nothing as he watched the coverage... that's why they didn't move him to a safe place..not unbelievable just disgusting that the GOP did not vote to impeach last year

I'm trying to "wrap my head around" why protest we don't agree with are called "riots?" "Occupying The Capital" & Occupying Wall Street were both carried out in "public" spaces. The right referred to the BLM protest as "riots" carried out by mobs. Sound familiar?

They were told not to be there Pence eventually called Maryland’s Hurd and Pelosi eventually called in The VA guard . Unbelievable considering the woman’s March had so many restrictions with what we could carry and there were police /guards on every corner and building 🤷‍♀️

The guy who could authorize it couldn't be reached. There will be a 911 style commission to get to the bottom of all these questions.
