Technically Congresswoman Katie Porter was never removed from Financial Services Committee. She prioritized two other very important committees, House Oversight and Natural Resources. It was at her own request. She’ll be truly masterful in Oversight and Natural Resources.

Financial services is exclusive. She did a great job there but choosing to leave for Oversight I'm sure she considers it the right place for her to be.
