I hope the next big announcement Biden makes will center on race. His early pronouncements signal priorities and now that he’s talked about Covid and the economy, issues of racial inequality should be next. If ever there was an area where small steps is not enough, it’s this one.

ya. the cops need to be rebuilt from the ground up. Send white-supremacists to prison, give more support to orgs that follow white supremacists. Lock neo-nazis up as enemy combatants.

What I would propose is reparations, but I don’t expect Biden to do that. He could start by saying that his administration is going to tackle three major areas of systemic racism: mass incarceration and the criminal justice system, economic disparity, and police brutality.
