In every area where this country is wounded there are people of extraordinary expertise who know how to heal it. But in the vast majority of cases those people & projects are underresourced & underfunded. We can’t heal our country if our bottom line goal remains corporate profits

2/This is particularly tragic in the area of children. When I campaigned I met so many extraordinary childhood experts who do amazing work. But even when they reported success I’d ask how many kids in the district who need the help get it, and the answer was almost always “10 %.”

3/ My most painful memory from the campaign trail was how many elementary school principals told me they have students on suicide watch. If I could have any wish I’d have every American just think for a minute what that means...

4/ In one elementary school in Nevada the children had been told there was a presidential candidate coming to visit and they could ask questions. They were totally adorable, very well mannered, and one of them asked, “If you win, does that mean you could help us?”

5/ Last night Kellyanne Conway was on Bill Maher and she said we need to remember all the wonderful things that Trump did. She said a primary example is that the corporate tax rate dropped from 35% to 23%! Whoah...there are two starkly different visions of what America should be.

Sad That’s even before the pandemic. I can imagine now Surely there’s a lot to be done. Praying for the complete new gubernamental staff to have clarity, wisdom and strength to apply ALL benefits first in the areas we need it the most: The People. It is urgent we get m4a as well
