Agreed. Eliminate all taxes on business. Only tax what is taken out of the engine of production which is difference between capital and wealth. Provide basic needs for survival for all citizens without deliberately creating a Gamma class for political purposes.

Full employment through a federal Job Guarantee is the answer. This would provide price stability at the same time as eradicating unemployment and its socialised ills.

Poverty reflects poorly on the US economy & its leadership; Poverty is a deliberate public policy failure. We are often told that the US is the richest nation, but that's courtesy of manipulated markets, crony -statist- capitalism, & holding the world's fiat currency.

Modern time poverty is not only about lacking food and shelter. Not having healthcare, quality education, and, more importantly, the opportunity for a better life are all “poverty.”
