If more of the rich really knew what it meant to be poor in America and more of the poor really knew what it meant to be rich in America, we would have a very different country.

You can usually measure a person’s generosity, both financial and of spirit, by their finances. The less you have the more you give.

Beautiful... Yes... and if the rich realized their purpose is to be caretakers of the poor... And the poor are to model the rich... things would certainly be different

Yes but that is an impossibility isn t it. You can know things really only if you experience them. I think América would be a better place if it was morally closer to the teachings of Jesus Christ. I mean Jesus was all about helping those in need, in America it s Fuck the Poor

I think the bigger issue is the lack of tax dollars relative to personal wealth that is paid. wealthy want to hoard their money and are not (through taxes) invested in the community.poor are looking for a way out without $. The gap needs to be closed &can only be done too down.

What is there to be learned from being rich, other than that you're a great person because this is a meritocracy, and obviously this is a meritocracy because you're so great?

All legislators voting against aiding poor ppl policies need to be put thru a round of Trading Places, experiencing a week alone on the streets with no one to rescue them. At least watch the movie.

I've been poor most of my life and have no desire to be rich. Most of the rich people I've met are complete assholes and not very happy people.

Rich is really within via education and righteousness. ..money is money. ..provisions is provision but at what cost?
