So Republicans who brought us the Iraq war and a $2T Tax cut that will never pay for itself are starting to complain about deficit spending, now that the Democrats want to do one damn thing to actually help people. Laugh loudly, people! (And read @StephanieKelton)

George W. Bush brought us the war, though many Democrats had voted for the authorization to use military force. And I didn’t say they’re a seismic changes. But even Biden’s plan yesterday was better than what we had before. I just hope he goes much further.

I hope so as well. I simply cannot get behind this revisionism that Bush and the GOP are the single force that brought us that war when Dems like Joe Biden argued passionately for giving him the authority (& forever giving up their own constitutional war powers) to wage the war.

Let’s please not pretend the George W Bush was the sole force behind our invasion in of Iraq. Let’s have some kind of historical perspective on what actually happened and not be reduce it to some boogie man.
