Cutting child poverty in half means you’re getting half the job done - and that’s not enough. When GOP wanted gargantuan tax cuts for their friends they didn’t take baby steps. Neither should we.

MLK Junior argued against “the tranquilizing drug of gradualism.” On one hand what you’re saying is true, but the situation is so dire for so many people that we need an immediate & massive infusion of economic hope & opportunity into their lives.

Not to mention preventing mass evictions in the middle of a lethal respiratory epidemic. The options of homelessness or moving in w friends/ relatives is a set-up for contagion and death.

Thanks for your reply, this makes sense I hope it can be achieved. So tired of politics
How about enforcing child support laws and stop letting deadbeat parents skip out on the children they brought into the world??? Children are suffering and deadbeats are invisible to courts, getting chance after chance!
