Cutting child poverty in half means you’re getting half the job done - and that’s not enough. When GOP wanted gargantuan tax cuts for their friends they didn’t take baby steps. Neither should we.

Strong immigration laws help poor people (especially black Americans) in our country... but you don't care at all about that. Save our resources and jobs for Americans.
Hm. I'm not sure I agree. In general I'm against gradual change since it leads to complacency. But I can't morally believe it applies in any situation where people (especially children) will suffer while we work out our nonsense. If we can feed one child tomorrow, it's a start.
