No $1,400 is not $2,000, and a one-time payment is not enough. Payments need to be monthly to make a real difference going forward.

But it is. They asked for $2000 when the $600 went out. This brings it up to that. Otherwise it would be $2600. This is a good start. But people will still bitch.

And single people need to get more. They have all the bills married couples have except childcare but they also get $500 per child. $1200 is not enough. My rent is more than that. You can't get on a rental program if you have paid your rent even if you borrowed the money to do it
