No $1,400 is not $2,000, and a one-time payment is not enough. Payments need to be monthly to make a real difference going forward.

For people complaining Biden planned to give $1400, that is not true. They still campaigned for $2000 after the $600 was passed!!

Money must go to those who need it the most and $2000/month seem acceptable. However, how to guarantee that people who are doing well financially don't take advantage of that government money?

Well since 600 has already gone out, and you add 1400, the total is 2000. Math is hard.
