No $1,400 is not $2,000, and a one-time payment is not enough. Payments need to be monthly to make a real difference going forward.

We’re still talking about $2000 as if the months haven’t been passing by

You do understand why it's $1400 right?

Countries with a fraction of our GDP have given their people 2k/month plus Universal Healthcare since the start of this global pandemic. Shame on the Duopoly.

The $600 was sent out. $1400 will make it $2000. Still not enough, but he’s not cutting it.

So many complaining that it's a waste to send to ppl who still have jobs. 🤦‍♀️ It's simple, either donate to some1 they know or send the checks back. So many are still under a stay at home order and are going to stay that way for a while! This would be huge unprecedented relief.

And retroactive for the suffering of the people not getting it when we are in a pandemic and needed not to work to be safe.

When politicians take things for granted. You'd think any president going forward would have learned by now. Since the Dems will have all three chambers of Congress, they have to stop taking things for granted this time around. It's like vocalizing a brick wall so far.
