No more free money. Creates lazy ppl and dependents for life. My co worker won’t apply for a promotion because she’s scared to lose her housing voucher. Keeps ppl down.

Contrary to popular belief money does not grow on trees. Monthly payments would costs trillions and trillions of dollars. How exactly do we pay for that? Money needs to be funneled through unemployment increases and reduced hour claims to help those most in need most efficiently.

People making minimum wage do not make $2000 per month unless they work a ton of overtime. A monthly benefit would change lives.
