Americans need to get serious about the problems with our water quality. Most Americans have no idea how poor it is nor how neglectful our government is in handling the problem. Let what happened in Flint be a lesson for us all.

Water quality issues in so many areas, but the one area that gets ignored because it deals with our "clean" water supply is backflow prevention devices in all aspects of our water distribution infrastructure. We also need to do a better job at promoting the use of graywater.

This is an issue that won’t go away with a shift in administration. When this first broke (seven years ago now), Obama abetted Snyder’s actions by flying to Flint and pretending to drink the water.
