We need to reinstate the Fairness Doctrine & repeal the Telecommunications Act. There will be a new prez in a week and we shouldn’t just wait to see what he will do; we should think about what it is we want. The American people have gotten into the habit of asking for too little.

Not sure if this is correct paradigm but here goes. I have always thought internet should be regulated like any other public utility, like TV and phone. They used the same infrastructure.

It's problematic that monopolies like Twitter, Youtube, or other social media sites can choose who they'll allow a platform to -- as well as Google and Apple stores, yes; but people are still free to create their own sites and forums online, aren't they?

What exactly are you proposing? I'm all in favor of letting him run his mouth as long as he doesn't lie in an attempt to incite illegal violence against our elected officials. & I don't think what you're proposing would prevent that.
