We need to reinstate the Fairness Doctrine & repeal the Telecommunications Act. There will be a new prez in a week and we shouldn’t just wait to see what he will do; we should think about what it is we want. The American people have gotten into the habit of asking for too little.

You people are great, telling us how we should be adults. The people are smarter than Congress - we can figure things out. Stop helping us, you clearly do not know what you are doing.

You can't allow the mainstream media manipulation machine to continue brainwashing the masses. There's lunatics running around talking about civil war because they think the vast majority of the country is populated by evil racists who want to install Trump as emperor for life...

Remember all those federally-mandated public affairs shows that came on Sunday night at 10:30? They ran at that hour because nobody watched 'em. Production costs down the drain every week, for nothing but compliance with the Fairness Doctrine

Yes! The Telecommunications Act of 1996, a bipartisan bill signed by Clinton, was filled with deregulations which led to the consolidation of the media.
