The Telecommunications Act of 1996 allowed a small group corporations to become the monopolistic owners of mainstream media. There are rules by which they abide & one of them is to never criticize the military industrial complex. Most presidential candidates don’t even go near it

Agreed. And why can't they look into reforming what networks are allowed to broadcast? Allowing Fox News to push misinformation about masks for example, has actually resulted in people dying.
