It’s not just people in other countries affected by this corruption. First it’s money siphoned off from domestic spending, plus last year’s model of equipment - constantly & unnecessarily replaced - is then sent home to local police forces, thus the militarization of our police.

And many will rush to defend the military and spending outrageous amounts on it, and then freak out at the proposition of $2k checks for every American. Think of how brainwashed you have to be to prefer your taxes go to killing machines rather than back in your pocket.
