Who he was on Wednesday is no different than the man he’s been for the last 5 years. The neo-fascist movement he aroused must be treated with the utmost seriousness now; those who enabled it should have very little say in what that looks like. Their calls for “unity” are hollow.
New details from @maggieNYT on what Trump was doing during the riot: "He was pleased... He knew what was happening... He just didn't want to do anything." Says only thing that snapped him out of it was being told he would face legal exposure based on what he said at the rally.

@POTUS called for unity from day 1. It was quacks like you that kept stirring the pot. What about the Dems who called for people to “get in their faces” or those who ran Rep. families out of restaurants? That’s ok though...right? Hypocrite left!

Who he is is the same egotistical failure he has always been. In fact, he was a joke in the 80's, 90's, and 00's. Nobody took him seriously. That is why he needs to held accountable.

Who he is on the 20th will be no different than who hs has been the last 47 years. The “do nothing but still take taxpayers money.” Won’t change. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Marianne, I appreciate this excerpt. And I urge all eyes herein to read Ms. Williamson's powerful opinion piece published in "Newsweek". She covers the waterfront and outlines what we need to do now! Thank you! Thank you! I am ready serve even more.

He is the fascist's victory, not the other way around. They were organizing long before he ever considered running, and they will continue after he is gone. People need to understand that.
