Former WH officials going on record to say that “Wednesday changed everything” are being rightfully ridiculed. It wasn’t Wednesday that changed everything; it was Trump’s election that changed everything. They aided and abetted his malfeasance while it served them.

Well a lot of the authoritarian streak started with Bush administration. Trump turned all of this into choas though.
