I just received a positive COVID-19 test result after being locked down in a secured room at the Capitol where several Republicans not only cruelly refused to wear a mask but recklessly mocked colleagues and staff who offered them one. jayapal.house.gov/2021/01/11…

I don’t understand why mask wearing is a partisan issue. It’s just a piece of cloth that can save lives. How could doing something so simple that can make such a huge difference be considered as a violation of civil liberties?

There was video of her in the chambers without a mask during the siege. I mean agree with her sentiment but she was literally not wearing a mask in the video I saw. Hope she gets better nonetheless
