I’m astounded that with armed protests planned for all 50 state Capitol’s and then days later at the US Capitol, Republicans are so unable or unwilling to exert pressure on Trump to tell his supporters to stand down. It is mind boggling.

I'm not sure that is possible. They so believe the lies, even if he said don't do it, they would go forward anyway.

For 4 years they gave Trump a pass. And by doing so enabled & emboldened him. They ignored the warning signs. And look what happened! People died. 350,000 from Covid and now at the Capitol. He must be removed from power. Article 25 or Impeachment! If not now... WHEN?!!

Part of the issue is that it has already become clear that there is no putting the genie back in the bottle. Even if they could force Trump to tell these people to stand down...many of them would refuse.

I think it has a lot to do with fear ... I don't think fear exists in the present moment ... I think it's connected to the future ... So if we live in the present moment ... we can become ... fearless!

It isn't really. They believe that they will benefit from treason, even if all they do is vacillate and obfuscate. Inaction is enough to prevent necessary action and ensure the desired outcome. Democrats need to stop underestimating Trump and his allies!

Lol....I would LOVE to see the Democratic Party try to control progressive independents. Let's go. We saw how successful Bernie was with herding us all into the fold! 🤣

The republicans are insane. They actually think they are going to win.
