I’m astounded that with armed protests planned for all 50 state Capitol’s and then days later at the US Capitol, Republicans are so unable or unwilling to exert pressure on Trump to tell his supporters to stand down. It is mind boggling.

Is it, though? Most Republican lawmakers would be more than happy to keep their positions of power under a one-party state.

It's not mind boggling if you understand narcissistic sociopathy. The country rejected him (he knows this but can never admit it) so he has rejected the country. And if he can't have 'it' he'll do everything he can to burn it all down.

It's not Astounding we don't want radical leftist socialism ! We want our Constitution and Bill of rights left alone ! We will protect them at all cost ! Get it ?

Kind of like Democrats asking for the riots and looting to stop over the summer
Not me. I believe many elected officials knew about this days before it took place as well as helped facilitate it. They failed because they underestimated the level of dumbass his followers are actually at. America is fortunate they are incompetent.

This moment will define who republicans are and stand for. My greatest hope is the U.S. military is still on the side of the U.S. constitution. May peace prevail, now is a good time for @marwilliamson’s Dept. of Peace to come to fruition. marianne2020.com/issues/us-d…

If you view trump as Putin’s puppet, who has been working to undermine America, it all makes perfect sense. Republicans are traitors. They haven’t been working in Americans best interest for years. It all became clear to me when they refused gun safety laws after Sandy Hook.
