There’s no “unity” in refusing to hold people accountable for egregious behavior; there’s no “healing” where there is no serious truth-telling; and there’s no going forward in life without being willing to clean up the past

If so then the cleaning up the past and truth telling needs to involve two parties not just one !

I listened to 20-30 hours of testimony on voter fraud in state houses by little old ladies and some democrats. Then I saw those cases dismissed by judges without the evidence being heard. If they're all lying why not let them perjure themselves?

My 4 corner stones of having a foundation for building upon are Truth, Accountability, Trust & Compassion. You can't have truth without accountability, you can't rebuild trust without accountability & having room for compassion with the whole process is a must.

"Never let a good crisis go to waste" ~ Churchill Biden/Obama made Trump possible, now they are going to weaponize a crisis of their own making, in order to censor opposing views & dissent This is all part of a plan...

There is also no unity in defining "egregious behavior " as anything said or done you don't agree with.

History agrees with you. Letting this go will only delay future violence. Either way, there will be violence. We either do what's right now and face it, or wait 15 years for it to ferment in severe resentment and explode with widespread devastation.
