The U.S. is going through a tremendous crisis and we shouldn't minimize that. But we should have absolute conviction that ultimately we'll be a better country for everything we've been through. It isn't up to fate; it's up to us.

I have faith in 51% of the people who live in the US and didn't vote for Trump, but I have little faith in our leaders who listen to their corporate donors more than us. It feels like it isn't really up to us, it's up to Marriott and McDonalds.
