We won't get through this period in history with a "We'll wait and see what happens" attitude. It's imperative that we see a cult-like neo-fascist phenomenon in our midst as absolutely unacceptable, and see ourselves as a generation which refuses to tolerate its presence.

As long as we look towards systemic causes for our problems and address them rather than only becoming increasingly authoritarian because we can only see symptoms. Trump is a symptom, racism is a symptom, etc. The real problems causing these things are systemic.
