Churchill said you could always count on Americans to do the right thing..."after they have exhausted every other option." We're known for being slow to wake up to things but once we do, we slam it like nobody's business. I think we just woke up, and I think we're gonna slam it.

Yeah, we were "on it" before we systematically cocooned, immersed in our media, cut ourselves off from others, dismantled all semblance of in-person organizing, and got so damned precarious that a single paycheck could spell our doom. Don't hold your breath.

Woke up to the corruption of the whole thing? No...people still believe their neighbor is the problem.

Same addictive, exceptionalistic drug. Marianne, please, put the pipe down. You do make sense much of the time, but we can tell when you've been smoking.

That's funny. We sure slammed homelessness, childhood hunger, police brutality and people dying because they couldn't afford treatment. They're not going to slam sh*t, they're going to use the crisis to oppress & exploit all of us even more. #AbolishThePolice #MedicareForAll

Churchill said many smart and often outrageous things. Voices of reason have shouted from on high, but their words were drowned out by millions wailing about MAGA and walls of separation. Maybe, just maybe, we'll take heed.
