He was referring to the French and, presumably the English, throwing him out the Rhineland in 1936. That's when he violated the Treaty of Versailles, and could have easily been removed by the French. Up until 1933 he could have easily been assassinated walking down the street.

You're playing for the wrong team.
A good law is a good law when it squares the laws of justice, of God's law. When it defies the laws of nature, it's not legitimate. We are obedient to the higher book of nature, not the oligarchical system's legal books. This idea must spread like electric fire around the world.
