I'm male, and I last my job in December. I realize those are 'net' numbers, but I just thought I'd pop my head out to affirm that the numbers are not just statistics, regardless of gender.

I'm a teacher and know so many kids who are growing up in poverty. Lots of kids never come close to reaching their potential because their families start out with less than zero every month. It's so much worse now. Everyone should watch this documentary.

The pandemic certainly has made those slowly gaining ground in the fight for equality lose a lot of ground while the white male has held strong (with many feeling slighted even). But we don't have systematic inequalities, now do we? And yes, these are all humans, hurting.
