The situation at the Capitol could’ve been so much worse. Although tragically people died, many more might have had a bomb gone off or other catastrophic events had occurred. This moment calls for us to be deeply somber and deeply reflective about our country and about ourselves.

That would be so good. I would love to see/feel a groundswell of U.S. introspection. Not one of our strong points.

We need a thorough investigation of the coordination between DHS, DoD, Capitol Police & others who facilitated the invasion of the Capitol DHS had the intelligence, did not use it DoD denied riot gear, munitions to Natl Gd requested by DC Mayor Cops opened gates for the invasion

Are you kidding?? This is not the time for reflection! NOW we must bind those responsible with all the powers of the Constitution and the Rule of Law that are available to us. We will have time to reflect after the Inauguration, if there will even be one-Moon void of course 😳

You're right... Why wasn't it ..? Because they didn't go there to take over, they went to have their voices heard... Remember the protesters disrupting Kavanaugh hearings, and occupying offices and buildings ? They were called brave, and cheered by Democrats and their media

Agree. Witnessing the violence incited by democrat leadership this summer was disturbing. We must hold them accountable.
