This isn’t just about Trump. It’s also about an unexplainable lack of serious security at the Capitol on a day when anyone would have known that it was at least conceivably more vulnerable. We’ve known about this rally for weeks & its organizers were open about planning to storm.

I was sure that the Capitol was going to be cordoned and have police guarding the perimeter. For the life of me, I could not imagine they would have the Capitol totally unprotected. Especially knowing what happened in MI and the violence of the armed right-wing American machos.

When 90 percent of police are Trump supporters. Good old boys get the polite get home safe treatment like when they get pulled over for drunk driving. Had they been rioting while black that would have got the officer in distress call.
