This isn’t just about Trump. It’s also about an unexplainable lack of serious security at the Capitol on a day when anyone would have known that it was at least conceivably more vulnerable. We’ve known about this rally for weeks & its organizers were open about planning to storm.

Rumor I heard is DC Police had been requesting NG on site from the Pentagon for this day for at least a week, and were continually denied because of "optics". Don't know if true or not, but not surprising if true.
