This isn’t just about Trump. It’s also about an unexplainable lack of serious security at the Capitol on a day when anyone would have known that it was at least conceivably more vulnerable. We’ve known about this rally for weeks & its organizers were open about planning to storm.

You have to gauge the situation and the worst case scenarios for that situation and staff accordingly. It’s pretty simple and between all the security entities in DC there is tremendous expertise and more than enough resources to have set-up an adequate deterrent to the storming.
