Historian of coups and right-wing authoritarians here. If there are not severe consequences for every lawmaker & Trump govt official who backed this, every member of the Capitol Police who collaborated with them, this "strategy of disruption" will escalate in 2021

How many historians know revolutions & left-wing authoritarians & communist dictators? My rough counts tell me that the latter have killed more people in their countries than the former type. Mao Zedong starved 36 million people to death. & Pol Pot killed 20% of the population.
