Respectfully, why haven’t you been saying this for the last 4 years? I know there’s a tradition of ex-presidents saying nothing but this was a national emergency, anyone could see it would lead to this, and our former presidents remaining so quiet was a betrayal of the people.

Valid point! Still, respectfully, not sure that a Dem president regularly bashing Trump would have made helped at all. As part of a group with W and his dad (while alive)...maybe? Also, HRC hasn’t been silent or on the sidelines at all.
