The US political elite think only those whose careers have been entrenched for yrs in a system that drove us into this mess are qualified to lead us out of it. In fact they’re the ones least qualified to understand the level of psychological dysfunction mass psychosis represents.

A constitutional amendment for term limits like President which is elected twice for no more than 10 years (2.49 terms). Senators 2 elected terms and no more than 15 years. Reps 2 elected terms and no more than 5 years

Seems we had a chance at change but we stuck with that same old guard you speak of. Name a current “leader” who is not considered a “political elite” and “entrenched” in a corrupt party and is not owned by major donors. Add to that a complete un willingness to self reflect.
