Today we faced an unprecedented assault on our Capitol, our Constitution, and our country.   The assault was fueled by more than four years of poison politics spreading deliberate misinformation, sowing distrust in our system, and pitting Americans against one another.

Replying to @BillClinton
Respectfully, why haven’t you been saying this for the last 4 years? I know there’s a tradition of ex-presidents saying nothing but this was a national emergency, anyone could see it would lead to this, and our former presidents remaining so quiet was a betrayal of the people.

If Bush and Clinton and Obama had all been talking, it absolutely might’ve made a difference on the midterms.

Lady, you need a lesson in humility. If you dare to think you know more about governance than Bill Clinton, than there are a few mental health challenges you are in desperate need of treatment for.

Not now Marianne. Not now. Save the shaming for tomorrow.

HRC DID say this. Actually predicted it. Having said that- the lesson is clear- ALL Presidents past, need to speak up- not JUST for political campaigning- laying in the sidelines while the country decays, is WRONG. End of story.

Please, sit down Mrs. "I'm gonna fight hate with love". Save it for your book club. The last thing we need is another "celebrity" know-it-all weighing in on the matter and reprimanding Bill for NOT being a backseat president.

Respectfully, I've heard Clinton criticizing Trump in the past couple years far more than any single Republican Senator has. Which is more important?
