Elected officials got a taste today of the trauma millions of people experience daily as a direct and indirect result of their policies. Their sense of protection proved to be delusional. I’m very sorry they went through it but I hope it’s an awakening experience for all of them.

I'm afraid it won't awaken them, because they're braindead. They will just fear the common man and resent them even more. The State just builds vertically more and more, so much so the elected official and the ordinary citizen will soon appear to be distinct species.
