Elected officials got a taste today of the trauma millions of people experience daily as a direct and indirect result of their policies. Their sense of protection proved to be delusional. I’m very sorry they went through it but I hope it’s an awakening experience for all of them.

They envied it in Marianne! Literally opened the gates and LET THEM IN!!! Not to be a conspiracy theorist, but how do you extract "sorry for what they went through" with THEY LET THEM IN! I hear a cop died, then he didn't die? from the 'letting in' no one seems to know yet.
