Elected officials got a taste today of the trauma millions of people experience daily as a direct and indirect result of their policies. Their sense of protection proved to be delusional. I’m very sorry they went through it but I hope it’s an awakening experience for all of them.

yes, trauma is symptom of #uspoli oligarchs/Corps buying US pols, policy & elxns 4 decades-as they sell out American people/their future. Its the root of all evil since Reagan/Thatcher neo lib ideology: Free flow of capital trumps interests of humanity. #wallSt, #cdnpoli

Awakening? Please stop taking on face value and weaponising psychology (whether this is your intention to or not).

I'm not particularly sorry they went through it. They are the ones who made us feel this trauma and they have been insulated from it. They are public servants and they haven't served the public for decades. They should be afraid of the public.

Well said. Today what we saw, we the people, will make sure our Congress do their job in making sure America is safe and not be TERRORIZED by terrorists again. What they experienced is little in comparison to what we have been through during these four years.

I hope they remember the fear they felt today when common sense gun legislation comes to the floor for a vote again

To me it's the chickens coming home to roost. America is a failed racist state and its White citizens can get away with almost anything and not suffer the consequences.
