It’s unbelievable watching the Capitol police politely and carefully escorting protesters out of the capitol building. Compare that to how police met protesters with tear gas and violence in Portland and elsewhere.

Don't think the congressional folks or the senators wanted that kind of mess...or to have some kind of shootout started, while they were there.

Look Marianne, all they did was storm in the capitol building and destroy things on the way in and out. It's not like they kneeled during the anthem!

Capitol police also opened barricades to let them through and took selfies with them. It's beyond disgusting.

What we just saw was political theater - and I don't think there is a member of our government that did not benefit - Trump maintains viewership for TV show - Biden seen as calming /comforting - crazy GOP get to brag on their Proud Boys -Squad gets "violence" pity points...

Remember the police force used against the wall of Moms? Yeah, tonality is everything here. Yet violence had a say... sadly a young lady lost her life - bullet in the neck.

This is an insight that no one is talking about yet - learning from the lesson and changing how to react from a space of humanity. Thanks Marianne - brilliant.
