It’s unbelievable watching the Capitol police politely and carefully escorting protesters out of the capitol building. Compare that to how police met protesters with tear gas and violence in Portland and elsewhere.

It is unbelievable, indeed. Where is the National Guard? Where is the tear gas?

Exactly Marianne. My friends son was shot in the back even after talking with police. He was having a breakdown and was scared and went to run and they shot him in the back. So many others mostly men & women of color don’t get that chance.

"Domestic terrorists." Stop calling them protestors. They ceased being protestors when they violently forced their way into the Senate and forced an evacuation.

Maybe it's because they didn't loot, burn and destroy businesses and the city???

Police forces are full of right wing extremists and need to be reformed under the next administration. You can't fight Fascism if the people who are supposed to fight it are Fascists themselves.

There is no comparing Marianne, the protestors in those cities were lighting fire and causing distraction. As citizens we’re allowed inside the capital.

They might as well hold their hands while they walk them out, after letting them have their party of course. 😡
