It’s unbelievable watching the Capitol police politely and carefully escorting protesters out of the capitol building. Compare that to how police met protesters with tear gas and violence in Portland and elsewhere.

Reminder that our nation's capital looked like this at the beginning of the summer and most Democrats/media shrugged it off as mostly peaceful
