Every day I get 5+ emails from Dems with a subject line saying the sky is falling in. Would someone please tell whatever messaging genius thinks that’s the way to raise $ that it’s also the best way to depress people, & millions of people seeing such words suppresses possibility?

You're right, but of course there are lots and lots of Dems out there right now who enjoy being frightened and angry quite as much as the Magats do. And also too, the emails work....

I ignore them. It’s a sad and ineffective strategy. Just ask chicken little and the boy who cried wolf.

This is what depresses expectations, from the former co-chair of the CPC @RepBarbaraLee Such a great choice to lead OMB. @NeeraTanden will bring the experience and humanity urgently needed in this position. Congratulations!

I get the most negative, insulting and stupid emails, all for the purpose of getting me to contribute money. Sick of them. And of course, they are not persuasive.
