Every day I get 5+ emails from Dems with a subject line saying the sky is falling in. Would someone please tell whatever messaging genius thinks that’s the way to raise $ that it’s also the best way to depress people, & millions of people seeing such words suppresses possibility?

Yes, it is exhausting. This past week I finally made the decision to unsubscribe from almost all of them.

Donation emails are an automatic daily thing no matter what for me. Read something interesting? Automatically get fundraising email about donations. It's like a business model to me at this point.

i get spammed with this crap too and it makes me want to forego donating to candidates in the future, i'm pretty sure that's how they got my e-mail, so i feel quite discouraged from any future donations.

We need more like you, Marianne. Positivity and the possibility of better is what moves people. Fear paralyzes them. Anger, while effective, isn't constructive. We have to mobilize using the right kind of power!

Fear motivates. Especially the traumatized people of this country. “If it bleeds it leads” - chaos and fear captivate and suck us kn

I got an email from a progressive PAC asking in bold italics if I was now supporting Trump because I had not sent them money recently. I sent them a fiery email, unsubscribed, and sent some money to a different progressive cause that was less histrionic in its campaigning.

Dems are ppl in our lives with a serious drug problem&their drug is power. But their affect is fear and insecurity which they know to use to their advantage.Anybody that had an addict in their lives will know unkept promises, aggressive denial of criticism&guilt trips for money.
