This is corporate behavior completely devoid of conscience. It's also why Prop. 22 was a bad idea, and why we need to change from an economic to a humanitarian bottom line. Business should not be - and does not have to be - soulless.

Not sure about the exception-not-the-rule part, but clearly it needs to be regulated by government in order not to serve the wealthy at the expense of others.
