The problem is not an issue here or an issue there, so much as it’s an insane notion of the purpose of money. The purpose of an economy is to serve people, the purpose of people is not to serve an economy.

Marianne you need to understand economics or stick with the spiritual stuff. This is ignorant at best. The purpose of an economy is to align rewards with value creation.

It’s important to remember that money isn’t real. It’s a convenience we invented so farmers could get the full value of their goat without finding someone to buy the whole goat. The oligarchy would gladly leave hundreds of millions in squalor for a little more imaginary value.

Marianne, thank you for being a voice of reason & heart. We currently have a system without heart. We need all the wisdom & compassion & solution-oriented progressive voices we can muster. Bless you for your stamina & goodwill.
